Your question:

Our real estate market is just showing signs of turning around. Have you found resources I can provide to the brokers and agents who are also my borrowers?

Linda says:

I have found resources for industries that really are struggling. The businesses left standing will have some incredible opportunities coming up. To find the real estate expert, I did not have to look far. I have known Carla Cross, CRB for 20 years. She is well known in real estate, has appeared on CNN, MSNBC, dozens of radio programs, and has written hundreds of articles for newspapers, newsletters, and real estate magazines.

She was featured as a real estate expert in Cosmopolitan! (no, not the cover!) She is a Washington State and National Realtor Educator of the Year. See more about Carla here…

In her recent blog post, she shared “The Four Steps to Put the ‘Spring’ into Your Business Right Now” which includes steps for agents and for agents and for their managers. And she offers a free internal business review for real estate brokers to discover their business strengths.

How to use this resource

First, read it yourself. The better you understand successful strategies in business, the greater resource you can be to your business borrowers.

Next, make a personal contact with your customer. This can be an email or a phone call. Maybe even a visit. Be sure to let them know you have been thinking of them, and when you came across this information you thought it might be of interest.

A lot of business owners do not want to hear from their banker right now…it makes them nervous. Find ways to reach out that are purely helpful and they’ll be happy to take your call.
